Created in 1998
by the Prothro family, Robot Publishing
was formed due to the family's passion for writing ministry books.
After all, ministry is what the Prothro family is all about.
Rev. James Prothro,
the head of the family, has authored six books and operates Robot
Publishing. His wife, Donna, an oncology nurse at DeKalb Medical
Center in Decatur, GA, ministers to cancer patients daily. Their
daughter, Chrissy, is also a published author. Chrissy's talent
for writing was discovered when she was just a child, as James
and Donna came across some of her stories and poetry. Also their
daughter, Precious, is not only a poetess but in her spare time
she often focuses her attention on the art of playwriting. Three-year-old
Sir James, the Prothro's youngest child, is off to a great literary
start learning to trace his alphabets.
Editing, layout,
and publicity are also the domains of Chrissy's older sister,
Rosalynn Curry.
The family has
done most of the marketing and publishing of James' and Chrissy's
books. Aside from those authors in the Prothro family, Robot Publishing
has assisted many new authors in getting their projects published
and in some instances, marketed.
